Proceeding from the heat-oppressed brain?
Macbeth is questioning whether the stress or “heat” oppression he is experiencing is causing the vision of the dagger in front his him. The “heat” is caused by the obsessive thinking which he has been doing around the murder, and is causing the ghost to appear as a sign of his guilt.
